What you've described is a grey area legally speaking but it would be how it is done. But for a seller to pull that off, they would need sufficient shares (i.e T20) which would then show up in the sub notices. In this instance I doubt anyone in the T20 is trying to sell. When a stock becomes illiquid after a rise this quickly (i.e. volume dries up) what you've just described is quite common (fluctuations). Almost as common as the conspiracy theories on Hotcopper (not quite) about spruikers, manipulation etc, Not quite thoguh.
