Have I ever said we don't have legitimate claims? AVZ did everything that was asked of the DRC Govt at the exploration/drilling phase which should have meant the automatic granting of the mining licence. We know the rest of the story. The unknown is what constitutes "fair compensation". AVZ has estimated the damages of not being granted a ML at $10 billion based on a range of assumptions re price of lithium going forward, mine development & operational costs, government royalties & other mining taxes, production levels, cash flow, mine life, etc. The point I was making about the mining licence is that it gives us the rights to develop the tenement (which is owned by the Govt) to produce Li & generate an income for a specified time period (In Australia it's usually 20 years with scope for extensions). Any way, we should have an answer soon. The sooner the better, I say.
