Well that's a bit more than a blending & canning facility.. If that was the case, I wonder what would become of MVM?
According to an article from back in 2015 when it opened, Yashili Pokeno can produce 52,000 metric tonnes of formula a year.
By comparison MVM can do about 30,000MT a year (but without the blending and canning).
From what I can tell, Synalit produced around 34,000MT of infant formula last year for all its customers (probably mostly A2 though). I don't think A2M intends to divorce its entire production from Synlait either, at least not anytime soon given that they were talking about pursuing more SAMR slots with Synlait.
So exactly how much stainless steel and production capacity does A2M need for the long term?
