Very true but the key takeaway here as you point out is that " PAR didn't make a deal prior to this" and that's where the blame lies, if you hold out until the very last minute then you open yourself up to a risk off sentiment. I still think the OPT debacle has put a lot of potential investors off, the science was good, P2 was great and then P3 was a shambles with the control arm performing way better than in any trial before. Biotechs are risky end of story, success is far from guaranteed
