    Firstly

    The 100,000 units over 7 years relates ONLY to the UK market and is based on the research of expected take up in that market by the utility in question......

    Roll on Germany, and the rest of Europe and throw in a number of eastern block countries......on the same logic say another 200,000+ units

    Add the US market ???????+++units

    Add Japan ??????+++units

    Plus a few thousand units in SA VIC and NSW........

    Buts lets wait for the order book to be filled before we get too excited......Obviously major economies of scale will kick in and the CFU factories in UK and Germany will be flat chat.

    Secondly

    The business model ATM is for takeup and financing of product by the Utilities themselves not Joe Average hence initial costs, maintenance costs are all contracted upfront with the ulility getting the feed in tarrif and normal elect usage charges......IMHO whilst cost of the unit may fall over time this would already be built in by CFU to long term supply and maintain contracts it enters......

    The major requirement for CFU is therefore to ensure that quality continues when volume manufacture begins and that Cell life span and efficiency is maintained or even increased. Hence more bang for bucks for customers. At the sametime CFU's service and maintenance revenue stream from any existing customer base can be extended.
