The message is clear from State governments (except Vic), and now Federal Govt:

(1) Will not entertain BS lawfare -so get the facts right and stop being hysterical.
(2) Will weigh up environmental claims against other social benchmarks. Such as keeping jobs and the lights on. In this respect Labour hand was forced, as proceedural fairness dictates the environmental standards held against developments like NW Shelf also have to be held against Windfarm developments. Whats good for the goose is good for the Gander. By rights - NSW farmers can claim the mythical (literally) 'Blue banded Bee' that stopped the McPhillamy gold mine in NSW can also stop a local windfarm and Solar approvals. Same happened in Victoria for the near shore Windfarms. By applying the rules radical green left have used to stop O&G and mining projects to Renewables project will see Blowin Bowen's dream for a renewable utopia caught up in greentape till 2100. Not a single windfarm will progress whilst there are 'spotted hooked nose whispering Wombats' to be found. So I think the green lawfare fad is over.
