Hi I just want to highlight something you may not be aware of. When you are the importer of something you become the responsible entity and it might be prudent to be cautious in regards to supplying anyone other than own family / household. It places all the liability of that product back on yourself so in the unlikely event that someone had a reaction to product in theory you could possibly be held responsible and liable as the importer. Yep I wouldn't want to be a importer of low quality power supplies and electric scooters without having suitable insurances or someone or their insurer may come back after their house is toast to distributor / importer. There are exemptions that allow stuff to be imported for personal immediate family use at own responsibility for medicines and medical devices but declaration is for personal/ family use and only allowed a limited supply quantity of few months. .
If your friends agree to pool a order for convenience and lower postage or something similar keep a record of that so you are not seen as importer and distributor may help if the worst happens. Yes family and friends can be the worst cases in court as when little Johny or grandma becomes sick or something like above example of house burning down and you may be fighting a massive insurer or people who want Justice for their property or loved one etc and you risk all your assets .
I only comment as I have seen with other very obviously non commercial dubious products/ treatments in the past people importing and not understanding risks of been seen as a distributor / promoter , being uninsured are placing themselves at risk even while thinking they are doing friends a favour saving a few bucks.
