The market is reacting to the relative strength in the gold price and expectations of a successful ramp up in production at the new mine. Assuming the gold price holds up and the political/military situation in BK does not deteriorate in the medium term then we could see WAF get over $3.00 this year and trade in the $3.50-4.00 by mid 2026.
Of course things could also go seriously bad for WAF due to country risks.
