I'll add to my last ---------- that I would expect the military to ONLY act - against orders that it is given that are found to be unconstitutional (ie. refuse to carry out the orders)--------- I would not expect the military to in any way shape or form act on any political issues that didn't involve the military itself -
and that would include things like other authorities detaining citizens, torture or the like etc.
BUT - we are in a very different era ----------- I 'expect' doesn't mean that it might be - because if Trump or his boofheads actually began to do really horrible things to US citizens ----------- I really don't know for certain what the military would do.
