Yes, indeed @The Disciple… is scientifically incorrect on many points. The other point is that in the flat earth model, the North pole is allegedly at the centre of the disc and that the Sun rotates above the disc at all times. This means that the North Pole is allegedly always in sunlight or allegedly is always in complete darkness, depending on which variation of the flat earth model they use. The reality is, of course, that the North Pole is in sunlight half the year, demonstrating that the earth is close to a ball like all the other planets, and as the earth rotates on its tilted axis half of it is facing the sun while the other half is not, thus explaining the observational fact that the North Pole is in sunlight only half the year (and the South Pole is in sunlight the other half of the year). The truth is there are literally hundreds of observational facts that prove with repeatable experiments that the various flat earth models are false. Some people are so gullible they will believe in anything that is contrary to what true science, as distinct from fake science, can demonstrate. The moon landings are a somewhat different issue since there is no evidence that can be replicated to prove they did happen in the past, other than for me going back in time and to the moon to see for myself. However, there is plenty of circumstantial evidence to support the notion that the moon landings were real, not the least of which are the astronauts themselves, a couple or so of whom would punch anyone in the face for saying they are liars. As for the alleged Apollo 18 mission, which was apparently kept secret once they detected alien activity there, well it's very likely not real. A movie was made in an attempt to expose some of the details. Scary movie but IMHO the story itself was purely fake. There is a possibility that the story was based on the rumours that the mission was performed by the CIA to contact NHI (non-human intelligence, which in my opinion are not necessarily aliens from other planets but the fallen angels and their created "aliens" of various sorts) based on the moon. I suspect that mission was not real, but we may never know. Anyway, I base things on observational evidence where possible. In the case of the flat earth, it's most assuredly BS.
