The story from Brainchip US and others is that Australian investors do not know how to value technology companies. If this were true how do they explain WiseTech?
If the Chair’s approach to ASX announcements is correct how does he explain what WiseTech announce via the ASX?
The difference between the ASX announcements or lack thereof is stark. As is the difference between Brainchip and Weebit, Archer and other ASX listed technology companies.
It cannot be a breach of the ASX Rules to simply make truthful announcements about Brainchip’s commercialisation progress and technology developments.
Every other ASX listed technology company gets away with telling the truth to shareholders and the market via the ASX why can’t Brainchip?
If you take the time to look at what these other tech companies announce then consider just his one example and I have no doubt you will be as puzzled as I am.
There has not been an official Brainchip announcement via the ASX about creating an FPGA version of AKIDA 2.0 or that the CTO was going to demonstrate it to potential customers at a technology trade show.
Why?
It was a significant technology achievement adding value to the company supported by the fact that being able to demonstrate AKIDA 2.0 did in fact cause customers to request one that they could trial in house.
Such achievements are routinely announced by these other technology companies. Sometimes as price sensitive sometimes as not.
Imagine what Weebit Nano would have done with the creation by Bascom Hunter of the AKIDA powered 3U VPX SNAP Card. It is definitely not a state secret because it is published on Bascom Hunter’s public website and they state clearly that they can do these five science fiction like things with a $25.00 AKD1000 chip.
Does the Chair of Brainchip think they are making it up? Obviously not because he would be obligated to inform the market that Bascom Hunter is making untrue claims that could lead to a false market in Brainchip shares.
Anyway enough from me on this issue. I will go back to my research.
