What choice did they have? It's either give the company money or it goes under. Those same investors can also buy on market at 0.005 or 0.004 or 0.001. They're not restricted to just the placement.
Believe it or not, their are people out there in the investment world willing to support the company at the risk of losing their own capital.
The company needs capital people will provide it, as long as they see a return on their investment. The placement parties see the possibility of getting their investment back & then some, otherwise they wouldn't have coughed up the capital.
And yes @Bundy_Too in response to your dismay at my remarks on this forum, I am allowed to provide my view in response to other people's remarks. Just like you always do to mine. This is an investment forum after all, where debate, views & opinions can be provided by anyone. If you say something I don't agree with I AM ALLOWED TO RESPOND!!!!
