Hi Renes,
I have just carefully re-read today's announcement and can tell you that the ann has nothing to do with Potash.
It's all gold, gold and more gold.
It is a significant announcement and in my opinion if it wasn't for a red AO, we would have finished around 2c.
In fact we would have finish on 1.8 if it wasn't for a last minute sell of 300K at 1.7c.
This is the important part of the ann:
"The Elsienora prospect occurs near the boundary between the two EL's and the geological setting is very similar to the McPhillamy's deposit located 50 km to the North of Sultan's tenements.
The McPhillamy's deposit is a JV project between Newmont and Alkane Resources Ltd, operated by Newmont. It has a stated resource of 3 million ounces of Au.
Newmont continues to actively explore in the vicinity of Sultan's tenements and currently holds EL 7451, a large area of Silurian volcanic to the south and south east of Sultan's leases"

The sampling programme has returned some significantly elevated Au results over a total strike length of 10km with several individual zones of highly elevated Au values over a strike lengths up to 2km long.
No wonder they want to fast track the drilling.

Come on guys, we have the world's largest gold producer as our immediate neighbour with a stated resource of 3M ounces of Au who are actively snooping and exploring around our boundary.

This in itself looks very promising for Sultan.

But that's not all.
There is still Peelwood North and Montenegro.
I wouldn't be surprised if we receive the water study later this week followed by JORC on Monty a week or two later.

These should easily take the SP to 3c+.

Then there is still that unspoken "mystery" project that so many on HC elude to.
