Quite clearly the market has surmised that a strategic partner is highly unlikely and that in that case Renard will be abandoned and our SP will go sub-10c. What's worse, this is June and tax loss selling may not even have begun yet. By the beginning of July LLL could probably take us out lock, stock and barrel for $40M if they have a thrillseeker mentality. Lithium has to be the most unforgiving commodity of all time surely. Has any other ever fallen from such heights to such lows in such quick time?
Perhaps if all tariffs were dropped and market forces took hold completely China would become the sole manufacturer of EVs and the low cost of purchase worldwide would see an explosion in uptake and thus an explosion in lithium demand. That is of course if lithium ion batteries are the future for EVs and not the new Chinese sodium ion batteries.
