Issue is that the GoG think they are the smartest people in the room. As a result it leads to a do nothing approach as then they cant be criticised for being bold and/or making mistakes. GoG are digging in their heels in the belief that they are 100% right with their ETM decision and mulling towards China goes in the face of their original concerns of ETM and link to China is a bit hypocritical. At first they didn't want anything to do with saw China and cited ETM/Shenghe specifically,now they think by citing China will make Trump and Europe back off. This was all done in conjunction with GBB advocating that ETM was 100% controlled by China [even though it wan announced to the contrary] but appears that memo was missed on a number of occassions. Again the misinformation propoganda.
The issue for Gog, is that even if they have a success with the arbitration, there is the civil case that then needs to work its way through. Thats another 2 yeas+ until the whole matter is settled, Greenland will therefore be in a holding pattern.
Trump is shifting command of the military bases to US Northern Command [also commands Homeland Security] from US Europe Command which is quite a significant move.
