So Lakewood is running flat out, plus BC8 is also putting 850,000 tonnes through Paddington??? This is a serious volume of ore!Mining is expected to commence in the middle of the year, with 850,000tonnes of ore stockpiles to be delivered to Paddington over 18 months from September. This will be carried out and funded by Mineral Mining Services, with Black Cat not having to contribute anything towards development.

Black Cat is also continuingmining at the Myhree and Boundary open pits at Kal East ahead of schedule, with more than 100,000 tonnes of ore stockpiled. The ore will continue to be processed at Lakewood until the open pits are completed in October.
Black Cat is also optimising Myhree, Fingals, Majestic, and Trojan– the four mining centres at Kal East – to ensure a smooth transition of ore sources to Lakewood.
