I wouldn't say no buyers. It's a stock on the verge of news flow going deep under the radar.
There's simply no liquidity for bigger players to buy on market without noticeably driving the price up.
I recently put up a comparison of the top 20 from this year and 12 months ago; it showed almost half have bought more, and yet there was only 1 single noticeable seller. This is highly encouraging.
Someone lobbed a bid to buy 4 million shares at 2.5 cents a few weeks ago, and no one sold into it. This tells me there aren't any large sellers either, for if anyone was desperate to get out they had their chance.
Let's say one or two investors with deep pockets want in. With so little supply, the price could easily fly up to 5 cents for a couple of million shares.
This is the key here to unlocking the really big gains.
At this stage, it feels more like a stock for regular retail investors who are willing to risk a grand or two getting set early with the aim of making a big pay off during the news flow phase.
While we talk large numbers like a 1 billion market cap - and I'm sure more than a few on here have experienced this in other stocks to know anything is possible - but who would really complain if we only reached a very realistic 100 million market cap?
That's over 40 cents and a long, long way north of here.
This is shaping up as one of those stocks that no one wants till others want it.
Every once in a while a company quietly positions itself on the edge of a big upward move without the market noticing.
I remain extremely confident that this is the case here.
