    Yes @PEN0. That's a good point.
Even more than good, producing lithium sulfate product is being a strategic point for LTR from now on IMO. And it's also a very strategic point for LG and other Japanese battery manufacturers who want to compete with the Chinese battery manufacturers. I was working on this issue for some time. I will make a comprehensive post about that later on.

LTR management must be aware of that as well. Most probably LR is doing some work on producing lithium sulfate product in a JV form. (They have already started that work with Japanese Sumitomo long time ago). And that's a must for LG too. LG has to have an upstream integrated (above battery manufacturing) space in the battery supply chain for competing the Chinse. After researching LG's plans for battery industry I have come to that conclusion.

Therefore, I believe LTR and LG guys must be working on a new JV project at Kathleen Valley atm.

My aim on this thread is to make clear that China is short in lithium. I have now found a very comprehensive document from the top Chinese gov. authority which clearly shows that China is short in lithium. All of the resources and everything is clearly investigated by themselves and resources sizes and types are numbers.

It clearly shows that China has very poor lithium resources and they are very short in lithium. Full stop.

I am working on it now and will post it soon.
