The soil sampling results map is interesting. Good coverage of the entire prospect. A detailed enlargement of results over the Thylacine area would have been informative. The question being, are the soil gold values simply due to the shedding downslope of granular fragments from narrow, widely spaced, oxide-enriched quartz veins, or are they showing more widespread evidence of mineralisation in the surrounding country rock between those veins? The -2mm sieved fraction that is in each 200g sample is certainly coarse enough to have included granules of enriched iron oxide and vein quartz eroded from the veins themselves, and it only takes a couple of these to account for +100ppb (parts per billion) gold in a soil sample assay. Drilling alone will tell.
