Brother @Hateful8 you have raised some very valid points. Although i'm no geo, I get it why you would AC drill first. Unfortunately Mr Market doesn't like let downs. So after the AC drill program to the south in Feb (24 Feb market release), which cratered the shareprice, why basically do the same thing last month and again AC drill to the south (30 May market release)? Especially when the odds are against you given the historical dud results from: (i) your earlier AC drill program in Feb; (ii) the old Western Reefs RAB results [both series 1 results from 1986 and series 2 results from 1987]; and (iii) the old Gutnick RAB results from 1999 (see my Post #: 79265098)? So why AC drill again to the south (30 May market release) and upset Mr Market when you know he had a bad reaction the first time around (24 Feb market release)? I don't think this reconciles well with the repetitive comments about being 'unloved by the market' because IMHO its self-inflicted to some degree. Strategically, all this just doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe I'm missing something because I'm not a geo or any expert of the sort, but I would've thought at least some part of strategy would include a consideration of Mr Market and ultimately the impact on the company's momentum. Yes, its always easy when you're an armchair amateur with the benefit of hindsight, but I guess all we want to see is the big man succeed as well as the company. Taking backward steps kills momentum and sets us back some. Making it harder to move forward cause there's increased resistance from Mr Market. We never want to again be in a position where the company is exposed to bottom feeders so my thoughts are constructive comments in this regard. Moving forward, hopefully the addition of the new Chairman brings a fresh set of eyes and value-add to strategy. I must say that the refresh to the board was long overdue and most welcome. Kudos to making the necessary changes as it takes courage to shift from your comfort zone. So there are plenty of positives here, I suppose its just gonna take a little time for the new board's value-add to flow through. A little patience (which I know is wearing very thin for some of us) is required until then haha! AIMHO (DYOR).
