I will make sure my future EV with a future solid state battery with safe non runaway tech etc will be non Chinese. Happy to pay more for Japanese/Korean or Western manufactured batteries that will have proven quality SC6 Li in them.
There would be nothing better or prouder for me than being able buy a block chain certified KV SC6 quality battery that contained our Lithium in it.
No low grade lepidolite or low grade Li for me or my family.
If the Chinese made a 100% proven high quality product in their country then I would buy it from them and pay accordingly. The problem is I read a few years ago that a respected Li engineer spent five years tracking the process chain in China from mine to end product and ended up giving up as he hit too many road blocks.
I will demand quality and ethically produced batteries as will future air, ship & general people mover OEM manufacturers.
Stay strong long holders, we are being shaken & stirred daily but won’t be denied.
