I have to ask... how is GBR not doing a scoping study on Mulga Bill, in tandem with Ironbark?
352,000 ounces at 2.4g/t open pit... should be a gold mine right now.
Ironbark is a given as a way of enabling the company to become a self funding explorer, and whilst I am happy the study is likely out next week, why did it take so long! Just crazy to me. Plus... the U/G ensures that the LOM will be substantial (toll treatment seems almost guaranteed to occur.... even if they find 1.5mtpa.... MEK and WGX are not stupid, they are going to simply buy the company if the board continue to have their head in the sand).
I am quite interested to see what the scoping study looks like, as whilst the actual amount of ounces produces is going to sit around 50-70k (even with all indicated ounces, they won't produce 100%). Still 25-35k ounces of perhaps 2 years will be a huge step change if they actually get a move on.
The fact that WGX has not done a deal with GBR yet shows just how slow GBR are at dragging their feet. WGXs mill is stupidly ore poor.... I mean they even trucked some dirt from their Fortnum mine, plus Tuckabianna stockpiles!
I do like to see stale holders exiting GBR (fair enough considering how long they have waited for the company to achieve something of substance).
I guess therein lies the opportunity.
GBR have no excuses at this point.
