Chanced upon this article on Salta Mining’s Instagram postings. Hopefully I am able to provide the screenshots of the article.
The article admits low level of activity in the province although it tries to spring hope for the future by bringing up the inauguration of 3 plants that will now start to produce without mentioning them. I assume they would be POSCO, Eramet and Rio Tinto.

s stated by Puna Mining’s legal counsel in an interview, the granting of the 10k permit had it not been delayed, could have triggered the finalisation of the strategic partner process. The 12k plant would have had the same timetable as that of the 3 plants in the article. Yet, we would have the advantage considering the experience Puna Mining had prior to the management decision to suspend operations. To my recollection, our permit approval is greater than that of RT or even GLN. As an aside, note that production by GLN is lithium chloride that still needs to be toll-treated, unlike AGY’s lithium carbonate production.
