You could be right but IMO LH is at the mercy of OZM, as was announced on the 16/09/2024 it states: "The Miner has agreed to fund and complete a Feasibility Study within 12 months of signing the Agreement." otherwise he will be liable for a Break fee of $4 million.
To complete the FS as was announced in the last quarterly it states: "the results of the trial mining and heap leach will feed into the final feasibility study with the aim of the trial to be a cash positive operation", as such, from this announcement it indicates to me the Trial HL mine has to start before the completion FS which is required to be completed by September.
For LH to pull out would be insane with a booming gold price, the feed resource being shallow and Metallurgical testwork showing 87-89% recoveries. LH has already spent quite a bit of money on the FS: drilled one diamond hole and one RC hole, carried out geotech tests, completed various reports and Engineering mine design and site layout for a trial mining and heap leach operation.
As previously posted IMO will get a major annoucement on the HL in July, all in my opnion.
