”Legitimately created”, so the English who won WWII with the Americans wanted some Jewish religious victims of European national socialism out of Europe where their future was unassured, and decided that because they had a mandate for “British Palestine” whatever that meant in the first place, that they could just give one religion a homeland?
Only some Jews went to this new place from 1948 onwards and there were constant wars almost ever since.
Some Jews even stay away from Israel purposefully and refuse repatriation.
Some Jews outside Israel do call the creation of Israel illegitimate and want to give it back because they refuse repatriation and for them, the creation of Israel is not good for their long term future in their host country outside of Israel.
I assume most know what damage Israel is doing to Judaism in general and base their views of Israel’s legitimacy off the facts of its creation not their self interest in being repatriated from their host country.
