What's most interesting is why Sezzle chose to take on Shopify. Why not Affirm or Klarna?
Sezzle can introduce a debit or credit card and then do something similar to PayPal. That's the main counter-argument. It also costs Shopify to add new functionality at checkout, which they'll argue Sezzle should pay.
I reckon it's a ploy to get more exposure. A smart move by Charlie and one that will reward shareholders and BNPL players in droves.
Rreaffirmed guidance is further validity for a strong Q2. Buying more on the dips is my thoughts.
