@twouptom; according to the LAPD Chief at his globally televised press conference yesterday those responsible for setting cars on fire, releasing cinder blocks and chucking rocks at Police were KNOWN to them - he described them as regular offenders and 'anarchists' - NOT as immigrants and NOT as those who earlier engaged in peaceful protests.
The situation in Los Angeles is a reminder of what Trump incited at the US Capitol on January 6th 2021.
Trump is pitting various elements of American society against each other: decent and fair minded Americans exercising their democratic right to protest - LAPD - National Guard - US Army - US Marines - fascist anarchists [including Neo Nazis].
Trump's thereby shredding what remains of US democratic values, processes and institutions as he transforms it into a totalitarian state of which he's the dicktator.
