    so you're a noun and not an adjective....good for you.

    All this scare mongering will come to zero if the markets are happily breaking records by Christmas.

    Which is what will probably happen. The market, at the moment, is in a "correction mode" imho which will soon return to business as usual, shrugging off blatant warnings and obvious signals of impending market turmoil.

    What, though, is happening is that the news associated with negative attitudes and fear isn't being ignored but put to one side while things look great. When things sour and the markets look and listen then the uncontrollable and reckless fear grips and nowhere is then safe.

    I don't think there have been enough shocks of the right kind yet. They come in clusters. If Bernanke thinks that QE2's aftermath has not started the US economy he will first threaten then start QE3..

    Either way this year will probably end in record highs. That doesn't bode well for next year. That's the year I'm getting ready for.....defensively speaking.
