Only one thing has prevented the release of the hostages and that's NOT been Hamas! Even Israelis have been protesting against the refusal of Netanyahu's Regime to enter genuine negotiations for their release.
Recently Hamas even released a live hostage as an act of 'good faith' to indicate its willingness to negotiate - the response of Netanyahu's genocidal regime could hardly have been more emphatic as it focused instead on slaughtering Palestinian civilians in what remains of hospitals and aid distribution centres throughout Gaza.
The decision of Netanyahu's genocidal regime to now starve surviving Palestinians to death has finally provoked decent and fair-minded countries including the UK, Canada, France, Sweden and Australia to join other countries in applying sanctions against Netanyahu's henchmen. That's a tipping point beyond which Israel is headed the way of Cuba following the Russian Missile Crisis of the early 1960s.
