You need to look at the big picture that goes back 15000 years to the last Ice Age that we have been coming out of. We have also moved closer to the sun in that time. Yes, irrefutably getting warmer but that doesn't mean we couldn't head back into another Ice Age. Only take one asteroid to mess up all those squiggly lines.
