Talks commenced on 11 April 2025. The market price at the time was around $2.05 per share.
I was told from a mate in the industry who heard from one of his mates that the price mentioned at the time was $3.20 per share.
Of course at the time of the trading halt the market price had increased to $2.54 per share.
$3.20 is unlikely to get the deal done now that the story has been leaked.
Just for disclosure I do own a few shares and my cost base is just under $3, so at $3.20 I will make money, but not much.
