Hi @pepper, there's still plenty of RnD cost ahead as far as I can see.
4DS will be paying Infineon $4,191,080 over the next 11 months (Jul'25 - May'26) for design services, then layer on top of that a new multi-millions payments schedule to IMEC for the fabrication of the Test Chip. If there's more fab work to be done at IMEC between PL6 & the Test Chip, might need to add another layer of a few more million to the overall future RnD costs. If that all goes well we'll finally be at the testing phase of the 4DS Test Chip spectacular late in 2026 / sometime in 2027.
Might be another CR sometime between now & H2 2026 depending on how much IMEC are keen to charge for Test Chip manufacture (no doubt they'll be charging plenty for Test Chip manufacture priority services).
It feels like there's still a long way to go...perhaps H2 2026 will feel closer if PL6 gets announced as '4DS Megabit Success at 20nm'...will definitely feel like there's still a long way to go if PL6 prelim results aren't what they need to be...so it remains to be seen if it'll be blue sky & sunshine for 4DS...or just more of the same as before (many a slip 'twixt the cup & the lip).
