You're missing a very key point. Its completely unproven and will remain so until a new wafer is manufactured and packaged up with the platform that Infineon is designing and even then thats possibly not going to work first go and may require a few iterations.

Not even much as a single statement from imec to validate the claims made by the 4DS board.
Not a single presentation to an industry standard conference.
Not a single technical paper presented for peer review.

Pretty much doing any of the above 3 things would send the share price soaring, so you need to ask yourself, why haven't they done that?
A few metrics thrown out with PL4 in isolation without all the other critical data required to make an informed decision.

So the question, or rather homework I would give you is, work out the percentage of acquisitions of novel IP technologies (won't limit this to just semiconductors) that ended up being a financial success. I already know the answer but what you learn as you go on your journey to get the answer is much more valuable.

I accept that I could be wrong - its true, its an opinion only and I have no way of knowing the future. However its not an unrealistic possibility of a near infinite number of possible outcomes.
