Maybe, but:
The announcement on the 17th based on LWD said:
"suggesting the presence of a gas column"
Todays announcement from wirelogs said:
"These logs supported the previously reported interpretation (from mud log and LWD data) of a gas column"
It gas column started as a suggestion and now is confirmed.
As you say, we do not know how big, etc. But we can now speculate.
