Hi DimDim,

Thank you soooo much for sharing how you use the broker data - very interesting and well thoughout approach.

New tech is not my old self's area of expertise, but I could follow the significance of each area you itemised.

Two questions, a bit personal so I'm not offended if you don't wish to answer.

1: Is your portfolio spread over all sectors, and larger % anchored by say ASX top 50 or the like, or are you small cap specialist?

2: If you mining weighted, do you spread over all mineral sectors, or just gold and have you mining profession or experience?


As you might get it, I was a prospector. I'm now at the end of my time in age, and for last few years have gone rogue on my investment strategy,
believing the gold cycle was getting near time to run, and believing uranium is the only reliable and economic future electricity producer, so spent the last 3 years positioning myself with small cap gold and uranium. I could not have afforded to do that when I was younger - too much risk when I couldn't afford to throw money in the ring on small cap betting. I love where I'm at, but not smart enough to do regular trading, so just concentrate on hunting out small cap goldies, and deciding when, and how many shares to sell.

While I do watch volume of trade carefully, a lot of my selecting of small cap goldies is centered on my experience in low cost surface mining, grades and cost of moving & processing,recovery etc - which is why i'm into STN. I have found the mining experiences are good for "gut feelings", but I believe the system you have developed certainly offers you advanced warning of up or down trends ahead, based on old adage of following the money..
