I agree bud hehehe. I can't see how Xi accepts this unless he banged his head. Main reason is China has the US by the throat over rare earths which the US is desperate to get. Looking at a few tables/graphs etc China's hold over the US is staggering.

What most also don't realize is the US needs those shipments to maintain their shall we say vastly depleted military. So the question is while their ally Russia has now finally broken through in Ukraine why would they make it easy for the US to help again?

In addition according to a few on X/Twitter far cleverer than me, Trump it seems has been using "alternate estimation methods" in his CPI "calculations". Meaning they fudged the figures again lol. Hence why the Fed seems resolute not to cut rates, they know?

I also notice CNBC claimed it would take another month yet for the inflation from the tariffs to start showing up in the data. Meaning, either they can't hide it more than a month or they like China are looking down the barrel of deflation (lights out).

I will leave everyone to decide which one for themselves. Now having said all that, that might account for why markets took so long to go green. The smart money know all of the above so its just if they can fool retail again (I think they can).

Because as you can see by the trolls on our thread this generation of traders and I have seen quite a few generations in my time, are not the brightest generation hehehe.

P.S. On a side note, I don't usually talk about short term movements in markets but I am starting to see a lot of topping signals. So I would say we due for a pullback anytime now (overdue maybe?). I am not talking the the next leg down (that's coming), just a pullback.
