I am not in NSW, but what I can tell you about that, is that it caused a 10x over 2 year in PI insurance premium increase for structural consultants nationally. It was also the catalyst for the engineers registration scheme which no doubt will be just another huge pain in the ass layer of red tape and eventual government overreach.
All of the above you can be dam sure I won’t pay for and will be passed onto the consumer… not sorry.
