I don't think it would be enlightning.
I think we would hear a whole lot of back-slapping for collecting remuneration for a year without doing much. We have 3 Directors on the Board:

....and the 3rd one is a newby - I hope he's not being inducted to the the behaviour of the other two. Surely, if he takes the Duties and Responsibilities of Directors seriously he would be asking questions about the Sales Pipeline, Market segments focus, geographic focus, values of established partnerships, business risk, etc etc - all the obvious things that Directors should be questioning.
