You make a good point Sid
It's not what % of the budget you spend on military that counts
it's what amount of the military budget you spend on US military equipment that counts

Just imagine how many heads would explode in the Pentagon if Austrralia spent 3.5% of its budget on Chinese, Indian or Russian arms.


Mind you we would buy lots more arms that way
