I wasn’t that impressed by yesterday’s ANN of the strategic review (except for the aforementioned resignation of Lian). Much of it could be compressed into 2 themes:
1) We need to commercialise our products (Derrr…really?)
2) We’re cutting costs (desperately trying to avoid a CR.)
I was much more impressed by today’s ANN. I believe new business leads into India might just save Anteo. IMO the best development would be for SII to take a chunk of ownership of Anteo. We would immediately know that future sales growth would be assured. They could help with growing the LS segment first and I don’t doubt they could also help with market uptake of Anteo’s energy tech into the vast Indian transport sector.
But we’ll see. For the moment the body is still on life support. But perhaps, as in an induced coma, repairs are taking place and, one day soon, consciousness will return.
