To be able to run a therapeutic field trial you have to first run the current Phase 2b trial.
It is the preventative trial that is key to commercial success - in the end it really doesn't matter too much if ISLA-101 has activity as a therapeutic as the market is for a preventive treatment is probably 100x larger. You could make a good case that therapeutic activity is a distraction as it would be best to rule out that it works this way so that all clinical development concentrates on prevention.
