Yeah totally agree that they can accept a superior offer. But i was responding to a suggestion that "Maybe just maybe management played this perfectly, flushing out new bidders for a takeover war". Which i read as (an i may have misinterpreted) that management has done something to attract other offers which would not be allowed under the no shop/no talk agreement.
