I consider that any new legislation must not be retrospective, this is simply good governence.
If Labor is considering a gas reservation policy, they need to be looking at new supply.
TBH, it does irk me that our current gas export regime sees little benefit to Australia. Yes. employment etc. but no royalties.
However, it is bad policy to make rules retrospective.
Labor need to be looking at new supply.
