While I don’t fully understand this design, per your example if a person went out of the house on work or travelled in the city (roamed around) and got bitten and got back home and showed dengue symptoms how will giving the tablets to the families help? They wouldn’t be exposed to the same mosquitoes which this family member was when they were outside the house. That might work if the mosquito bite happened inside the house.
Now the assumption is that the family member who got bitten by an infected mosquito now becomes the source of the infection- a new mosquito at home will have to bite the infected person and then bite other family members. ILA would have to feed prophylactic pills to all family members but without knowing whether the other members will ever get bitten by another dengue infected mosquito as dengue isn’t contagious.
This is my first time investing in a company doing a prophylactic instead of a therapy in which you have a clear patient. So I am trying to learn.
