We don't have many if any fighter jets that can reach any meaningful nation from here in oz either, hence carriers, midair refueling, using human brain to form solutions to easy problems.
ALL HOWEVER VERY EXPENSIVE, $Millions per hour of use.
Drones can be packed into a crate, a container, anything, driven in, Air dropped out of a plane if must be at worse, deployed from sea, even from underwater mate.
Countries are doubling down on drones for a reason mate.
