I do agree with what you're saying but while we may not go nuts until that time, we could move to a higher price than we are now.
In the short-time that Merrill has been CEO she's made 8 redundancies from the costly management layer, and with further to come. That in itself was a circa $2m saving. Our balance sheet doesn't care if that $2m came from a deal or cost cuts.
Anyway, the last quarter was a dismal $40k so we obviously weren't charging anything for the Anteo X, AnteoBind or services we were providing.
Imagine if we were charging our scientists time out? how many do we have now 15? that'd go a long way to help us become cashflow positive
I believe the market for the time being will be happy with some small wins. Many in the market believe a CR is possible in the near term. I believe Merrill is doing everything she can not to have one. The strategic overview sure reads that way. Appointing a specialist so they don't miss out on anything they could claim via the R&D rebate is a good move and I won't be surprised to see the rebate paid around August. That's not even a quarter away.
What will the SIOI visit bring? they've been helping us get a foothold in India so surely they'd be wanting a piece of the action especially when they see our market cap and potential value here.
Fabian, should be at the pointy end of some development agreements, if not, why not? he's had 6 months to get one, even a small company, to trial us, especially when he would've been handed a plate full of contacts of companies that had approached us for the past couple of years. I'm hopeful of news from him soon with a small amount of $ attached for the initial program of work
And there are grants. I believe there are many more grants we could've applied for and got. I believe Merrill will be on top of this now. Don't be surprised if she gets this moving very quickly. She comes across as someone who cares about this company and won't take the easy way out by going to a broker and organizing a stupidly discounted CR just to pay wages.
I don't believe we'll be seeing a CR this side of Xmas. Time will tell as it always does.
