Gen Moshe Dayan described how the formative Israel prepared, planned, armed and ensure all was ready for war from midnight of partition. he didn't muck about.... tactics were drawn and the war commenced by both sides.
the Israeli people were engaged as much as Dayan. they started the allowance for women to fight alongside men. all out aggression from both antagonists.
