“Gaza brought this all on themselves” ...... while it's true that Hamas, with other militia groups, escaped the boundary fence and invaded Israel with malicious intent and barbaric actions. the motivations of Hamas et al are unclear, though it can be speculated that Gazans were suffering for many years under oppressive rule and apartheid and bondage through Israeli containment and deliberate containment in the ghetto of Gaza, and so conducted this barbaric warlike invasion due to frustration and a desire to be free from the Israeli yoke.
in short, they behaved as Freedom Fighters,. But it wasn't Gazans that made this brutal invasion. it was the militia groups led by Hamas. and so ALL Gazans have suffered terribly. Gazans didn't start this; they didn't bring this on themselves..... yet they suffer the most from Israeli barbaric violence and famine.
Gazans have not been allowed to join with West Bank and form a state of Palestine. Israel has ensured the Palestinians are oppressed, imprisoned and forbidden 'normal' sovereign statehood.
