So to hang on to the "it's finished" and "the way" as if it's the end of God's work is clearly an indication of a very very narrow view of what the Bible in its totality is speaking about in relation to God's Plan.
Not at all as I explained to you above, what is finished is the atonement for salvation history, what is not finished is God's overall redemptive plan which is ongoing as people are born and die every day, all needing redemption until the fullness of time when Christ comes again
