I was reflecting on the title of this post and subsequent events. I get the impression that ETE is being sold down. If this is true then why? The most likely explanation seems that some one wants to acquire ETE's assets as cheaply as possible, either by take over or by other means. It might also be done to facilitate EMP's bid though I don't know how the mechanics of how this would work.
If its not being sold down, and in an excellent post Petey888 points out the risk reward ratio, it seems to me that whilst there is a risk, based on the published Reserves and the size of the Conceptual Resource the potential rewards outway the risk manyfold. But thats a personal view but I've backed it with my own scarce funds.
Does anyone else have a view that ETE is being sold down and if so, for what reason?
